In the somber weeks following 9/11, my art director partner and I developed this spot as a sign of unity for America. We showed it to our HCA hospital client, and they loved it. The spot sent a message of hope at a time when the country could really use it.

This spot is one from a series of TV commercials that focused on the real nurses and staff of the HCA hospital system, giving viewers a peek inside their daily work lives, and letting them know how much heart and soul they put into their jobs every day. Working on this campaign, I really did come to believe that for HCA anyway, nurses truly are the heart of healthcare.
